COVID-19

​

Wee Wobblers has made every attempt to ensure our classes are as safe as possible for participants to return.  We ask for your assistance in following all Scottish Government advice and Wee Wobblers specific advice in order to keep all who attend our classes safe.

The safety of our children, parents/guardians and instructors is paramount.  Please take time to read this page and contact us if you have any further queries.

General Guidance:

 

  • Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before class commences.

  • Please follow Scottish Government guidelines and wear a mask when entering and moving around the building.  Additionally, the venue may request you keep your mask on for the duration of your visit.

  • Please use hand sanitiser where available.

  • Maintain the 1-metre indoor rule or follow the venue specific guidance in shared spaces.

  • Follow all queuing instructions and directions laid out by the venue.  Where possible at some of our venues we may be able to use alternative entry and exit points, please see further instructions on class email if this is available to us.

  • Avoid crowded areas and allow them to clear before entering.

  • Please follow any instructions given by our staff or those of the venue.

  • Stay in your own household group during the session.

  • Catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue and dispose of any tissues into a bin and wash hands immediately.

  • If an individual does not have tissues to hand, they should catch coughs and sneezes in the crook of their elbow.

  • Do not share food or drink.

Covid-19 checklist:

​

  • If you are suffering from or believe you may have Covid-19, do not come to the venue and book a test as soon as possible.

  • Do not attend a class if you are awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test.

 

Signs and symptoms of Covid-19 include:

  • High Temperature

  • A new or continuous cough

  • Loss or change to your sense of taste or smell

  • New unexplained shortness of breath

 

  • Do not attend the class if you are in quarantine returning from a country on the Scottish Governments quarantine list.

  • Do not attend the class if you have been in contact with a Covid-19 confirmed or suspected case in the previous 14 days.

 

Class Specific Guidance:

 

  • All shared equipment will be disinfected before and after each session.

  • Instructors will invite you into the class when ready.

  • Instructors will wear a face covering.

  • Instructors will regularly use hand sanitiser.

  • Instructors will take a register of all in attendance.

  • Children under the age of 12 do not need to wear a mask taking part in this activity.

  • Children under the age of 11 do not need to socially distance taking part.

  • Parents/Guardians are requested to wear a mask for the full duration of the session.

  • Only one parent/guardian per student.

  • On entering the class please use the provided hand sanitiser or your own.

  • Parents will be distanced at a gap of 2m in the hall.

  • Due to the nature of our classes it is highly unlikely the instructor will be in close contact with the students for longer than 15 mins.

 

 

Named Wee Wobblers Covid Officer:

 

  • Wee Wobblers has a certificated Covid Officer in place ensuring a safe return to sport.  Covid-19 officers name is Scott McIntosh.

 

Track and Trace:​

 

  • All parents will provide contact details when registering for a class.  This information will be secure in accordance with GDPR regulations on their member login. 

 

  • Wee Wobblers is supporting the NHS Test & Trace programme.  Please be aware the your name and contact phone number can be shared with the Test & Trace team (this is not a breech of GDPR regulations).

 

  • As always your data and privacy matter to us.

 

 

What if we enter lockdown and classes are cancelled?

Wee Wobblers will do our best to offer you a place in one of our other classes.  However, we appreciate this may not suit for various reasons and will strive to work out a solution that works best for you.

​
